Fear

My thoughts on fear during the Covid-19 plannedemic

I felt compelled to brace the subject of fear as it's one of the questions on my questions website, where I ask, "which is more powerful, love or fear"

Covid-19 has probably affected more people from a psychological point of view around the world than any other previous event including the two World Wars. When I was young, I remember going on a trip to Italy with my mother. covid As we arrived at her friend's house, I had an overwhelming fear that our airplane was going to crash on our return journey. That whole week was pretty miserable as I kept thinking about our impending deaths. I was reminded of that holiday as I write this article, remembering a time when fear was as real as the device you are reading this article on.

Fear has a way of creeping up on us and paralysing us, often times its effects are silently permanent which could be the reality for many during these lockdown times. distancing Just like a herd of sheep with a wolf nearby, we have been whipped up into a state of panic and instinctively have come together. Separation from the herd would make us easy prey, therefore nobody questions the official virus narrative from their government and the media, for we don’t want to stand out from the herd.

Lest we forget, we were lied to regarding The Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) prior to invading Iraq, of Assad’s use of chemical weapons in Syria and a whole three years of lies concerning RussiaGate. A more pertinent lie recently used to spread even more fear, was using The‌ Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918. Not many know that it wasn’t a flu at all, but an easily treatable chest infection with one of the main causes of death being the use of aspirin to “treat” patients…..oh and Spain had nothing to do with it, the country was used to divert attention from other countries.

I was recently reminded of government lies after watching the film “Official Secrets”. The film is based on the life of whistle-blower Katharine Gun and her true story exposing the lies of the Gulf War. Unfortunately at that time, I was asleep and therefore agreed with the war criminals Tony Blair and George Bush. I am now however, very much awake and can clearly see through the propaganda we have all been exposed to recently.

Just as we have been brainwashed in the past with the use of certain words, such as "weapons of mass destruction", "the war on terror", "the war on drugs" etc. We are again having a selection of words repeated over and over again in the media. Some call this propaganda others call it social programming; whatever it's called, more and more people are suspicious of what they have, and are being told.

The new narrative or vocabulary uses the following words: "the new normal", "stay home", "social distancing", "self isolation"......what do they all mean? Firstly a loss of thinking for yourself, but more importantly, a loss of liberty. Now that most countries have introduced limitations on our freedoms, it will be much easier to do this again in the future. Most have now lived through "the new normal" and we casually use these new words in everyday conversation.

Trust in mainstream and social media is quickly eroding as the control of what we see and read about Covid-19, has become very apparent. In Europe, trust in the media is unsurprisingly, minus 9%.....yes in negative territory! This was one of the reasons I decided to carry on travelling despite the UK Government recommending the return of everyone. stay-home I instinctively felt that something was wrong. So while everyone else in the two hostels I stayed at were panicking and making plans to return to their respective countries, I was quite relaxed. Off course, we all have different individual situations, whether married with children, divorced, single or have elderly parents. Therefore, the fear of losing a child or parent is different to taking care of oneself, and so I fully respected everyone’s choice. I was however surprised, that free thinking backpackers were towing the line so easily.

Why did I use the word 'plannedemic' in the title…..because I believe it was a planned event. I no longer believe in coincidences that have such a global reach and consequences.
‌‌In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.President Franklin D. Roosevelt

There is evidence that Covid-19 has not naturally-evolved as it contains elements that could only have been placed into it by design in a laboratory. It is also similar to SARS, which some experts claim is an engineered bioweapon. vaccines I further believe the virus is a cover for a global economic collapse that has been brewing since 2008 which I covered in another article. On a more sinister note, governments around the world, with Denmark being one of the first and the UK considering it; are looking to introduce mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations, digital tracking via a smartphone app and ultimately via a digital smart body tattoo for everyone. Head over to my article on vaccinations to see my views on the subject.

My Fears

Prior to embarking on my round the world trip, I had my own fears. We are least fearful when in familiar territory, as I travel I'm always in an unfamiliar land which is now my norm.

How I deal with this is to understand that some basics apply everywhere. There will always be a local bus, taxi, Wi-Fi at a coffee shop.....and ultimately other humans willing to help a stranger in need.

For a number of years, I no longer live my life in fear. Now, I’m not about to climb Mount Everest or cross a canyon on a tightrope, so let’s be realistic; but what has helped apart from travelling is that I read a heck of a lot and now see how the world really works.

My Fears:

‌‌First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out — because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out — because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out — because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me

Martin Niemöller (1892–1984)

What is Fear?

Fear is the simplest and most basic of human emotions. Our bodies are naturally wired to protect us from harm, whether real or imagined. Chemical reactions occur when we perceive danger which is then translated into a physical reaction. For example, we would run away from a wild tiger if confronted.

Fear affects people differently. A small proportion will laugh fears away, many will worry but some will go through different levels — starting with worry, moving onto anxiety with some going onto dread and panic.

Common fears include a fear of public speaking, a fear of heights, a fear of rejection or a fear of flying which affects far fewer people.

Covid-19 fears seem to be more focused. Starting with a fear of starvation as we saw queues at markets. The fear of death was next as there is no cure, fear of missing family & friends, fear of running out of money, fear of isolation and a fear of not coping, to name but a few.

Many of these seem to be well-founded, for we have been exposed to wall-to-wall fear by the televised news. However, when we think rationally, we all know that good and happy news doesn't sell newspapers and that governments lie to us.....it seems we have forgotten this.

Clearly fear is extremely powerful as over 70% in the UK prefer not to go back to work as a recent survey found out.

However, it’s important to remember, fear is meant to be temporary to stave off a mortal threat, but we have been on a slow intravenous drip feed of fear for months. It’s probably fair to say that fear during this pandemic spread among populations around the world faster than the virus itself.

Positives from the Situation

Although there is a lot of negativity in the world due to the virus, we can take home some positives. Many are waking up and taking responsibility for themselves and their lives rather than willfully handing it over to their government. The waking up importantly means many are seeing the reality of what is happening to this world on multiple fronts.
