Travel Quotes I

I started to collect quotes which reflect my travels and resonate with the emotions and feelings I've had along the way. Before I knew it, I had amassed over 50 quotes and so decided to split them over a few articles.

I would like to start with a quote of my own creation. This took me a while to compile with probably too much thought on the subject of travel.

The photograph on this page, is from a day trip on scooters around various sites on the island of Langkawi in Malaysia. This was near the begining of my trip and was very special to me. This group invited me to join them on their day trip despite me not having been on a scooter for over 30 years and feeling apprehensive. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day, and yes, that includes getting drenched in the thunderstorm on the journey home!
